Caesar’s Creek Miniature Schnauzers

There’s no doubt we love what we do! And that’s breeding fantastic miniature schnauzers with an emphasis on producing future AKC show/agility/obedience/barn hunting prospects. I do this while maintaining ethical standards. This means I do not house any of my dogs in outside kennels. They are a part of the household and family which provides them with a very happy/full life. Many in my community utilize guardian homes which enables continuing lines while maintaining an excellent quality of life for dogs and their people. I am considering guardian homes for a female schnauzer puppy from an upcoming litter due in August ( going home this fall).
Why are miniature schnauzers the #1 bestest breed in the entire world for families?
*they love their people!! Children, elderly, moms, dads, other dogs, cats, even horses!! They love to hang out, play, cuddle, make sure squirrels aren’t plotting to invade your home, etc. It’s their job and they take it seriously.
*Big personality in a compact body. No couch hogs here! Whatever crevice is available on your couch will suit them just fine. A properly cared for and active Miniature Schnauzer is usually under 20lbs. Ours have traveled across the country several times with us and are really fun road trip companions without taking up very much valuable seat space.
*one of the most intelligent breeds. This means they seek close relationships with their humans and learn suuuuper quickly. Including potty training. Natural people pleasers.
*they are hypoallergenic and do not shed!!! This is why we got our first schnauzer when I was 3 years old! I confess I come from a long line of clean freaks so the no shedding thing is self explanatory. LONG before the new wave of designer breeds schnauzers were rockin’ it with the OCD.
*they are cute. See pictures below 😉
What does “guardian home” mean?
*I would identify a dog that would fit into our breeding program by 8-10 weeks of age. You would purchase your pet like normal. We would have a signed contract outlining everyone’s rights and responsibilities.
*Dog would come to my home for a few days when it’s time to breed, then again about a week before giving birth until puppies are weaned. You would have zero responsibilities or work as far as puppies are concerned.
*You would be responsible for daily and routine care of the dog just like a pet ( because in essence it is your pet) including food expenses. I am responsible for all expenses related to breeding.
*Once the dog is retired from breeding, ownership (registration paperwork) would be transferred to you , I would pay for the dog to be spayed/neutered and our business relationship will end.
What am I looking for?
*someone who is willing to sign and abide by a contract.
*applicants who live within 4ish hours of the Dayton area
*it goes without saying, but I’ll say it, honesty and integrity. Lots of time and resources have been poured into the dogs, and trust will be placed in your arms!
*A clean, safe, pet friendly environment. Do you have a fenced in yard? Can you provide daily opportunities for exercise? Do you have experience or are you willing to learn how to safely integrate pets with children?
I welcome requests for references. I have a very good reputation and have enjoyed working with clients, and fellow breeders worldwide.
If you or, someone you know, might be interested in helping me build my business, would like a little companion, and can provide a forever home please message me with any questions.
In order to be considered for the guardian home program you must fill out an application, have a phone interview, be accepted onto our waitlist, and place a waitlist deposit.
